Hi, I'm Dr. Ryan. I've been practicing psychotherapy for over 10 years, and I've been working in the mental health field since 2001. After completing my Doctorate degree, I received two years of additional training at the Wright Institute where I earned certification in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I am an active member in the psychology community, and I have worked extensively at clinics, hospitals, and private practice settings around Los Angeles. I opened my own practice in Beverly Hills in 2009.
My formal training and education were invaluable to me, but my personal and professional life experiences are what really helped me understand others. I've been successful in other industries as well, so I know what it takes to operate in the business world while balancing the needs of our complex personal lives.
Through my extensive training, I have been able to acquire a breadth of expertise in all of the main types of therapy including Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approaches. Depending on your particular set of issues, I custom tailor my approach to your needs. But, I don't simply treat symptoms; I also address the underlying causes of your limitations or problems.
